Green Eats Week
|
Green Eats Week was a week-long promotion created to educate Seattle diners about front-of-the-house customer area composting at local quick serve restaurants; the promotion ran from Oct. 21 to Oct. 28. Green Eats Week featured “local favorite” restaurants that are among the first to implement front-of-the-house customer area composting and to offer menu items in compostable/recyclable service ware. Participating restaurants offered a Green Eats menu item. Diners who purchased one of the selected menu items during Green Eats Week received a two-part coupon from Cedar Grove Composting - $3 off kitchen bags or $10-15 off home compost delivery through March 2010. Thank you for supporting our local pioneers, and getting ready for city wide implementation next July.
