Cool Tunes, Part 3: A systems approach to cooling towers

We are focusing on systems! We were inspired by the Seattle 2030 District Challenge - a collective effort by buildings in downtown Seattle to reduce the environmental impacts of building construction and operations. It is a multi-pronged approach that seeks to make deep cuts in energy and water use, and in freight and commute-related carbon emissions. The outcome is a downtown business district that is lean, competitive, and sustainable.

We’ve adopted this systems approach to cooling towers. We’ll show you how a combination of inspection, optimization, and upgrades can help your system achieve savings in water, energy, costs, or all three! Savvy cooling tower engineers can develop and implement a long-term strategic investment plan based on these documented savings.

So join us for this free workshop!

  • Learn about the 2030 District Challenge.
  • Then see how we apply the same thinking to cooling towers when systems engineer William Clumpner from Integrated Energy Services, Inc. takes the floor.
  • Hear next from businesses that have saved big with small fixes to their cooling towers.
  • Round off all the talk with some small group exercises to let you get your hands dirty!
